Why communications?
​
I always had a love for design and strategy. When seeking out work in international relations, I found myself practicing communications through press clips, newsletter writing, and design. I wanted to marry my communication skills with different topics.

Why international relations?
​
The idea of shaping the country internationally excited me. I wanted to be a part of larger conversations on strategy and how countries form relationships with each other especially as it pertains to national security.​

Completed a 10 week course and was trained on principles of social media strategy, how to ideate, create, and launch a successful campaign, and creating social media goals. Delivered a final capstone project that incorporated all course material.
